Los ojos de una niña

The Eyes of a Child

La niña sabe que un día es diferente de otro. Cada día tiene un instante mágico.[porque] La niña mira la vida con inocencia y entusiasmo....  (Inspired by ideas of PC).

Every day has at least one magical moment if I look at the day with the innocence and enthusiasm of the child I once was. At least this premise leads to seeing beauty.

I bike a second time to Cuastecomates, as lovely and peaceful as ever before 8:00 am.

In the evening, I tried out 3 small restaurants. First Carmen's in the waning light for chicken enchiladas, then Pedro's, in a sidewalk taco restaurant,
and, finally, I stopped at a sidewalk table in the busy, soft breeze-cooled central square for a piece of cheese cake.  Each place provided chances to speak Spanish and to mix with people. I strolled home with my last find and made a strong milky tea to accompany it. (Sigh of contentment).

Sorpresa!
This morning I found the bike group I had joined last year, Bacon Club, or some such name, and had a very exerting ride to Barra. The magical moment here was the toasted bolillo (someone baguette like bun) and tea at the end before returning. :-)

My fish and cheese lunch and half of a bolillo lunch was pretty magical, too!

Translation
