La Magia

Each post this time, I hope to write something in Spanish, as this language is an integral part of this adventure. 


After 3 months of intensive self-directed study of Spanish, and with the help of Rocia ( from Venezuela,  and Maria ( from Colombia), I am almost on my way.  I can now 'survive' in Spanish and I take part in a  friendly conversation with patient interlocutors in Spanish. :-)

What a joy this self-directed study has been! What a journey! Today, I completed El Alquimista; this coincides very well with my flight tomorrow for Melaque.  My spirit has for many years recognized herself in the messages found in this simple story of a young man who followed his dreams. And Spanish learning and Melaque for a month are two more steps towards my own. 

I hope to post once a week.  I am always happy to receive comments and feedback.
